19 of Daniil Medvedev's 21 championships have been achieved on hard courts
A comeback the Russian player claimed his maiden trophy for nearly 30 months with success over Frenchman Moutet in the competition title decider.
The Russian, a former world number one, has experienced a torrid season, winning just a single victory at the major tournaments and undergoing a setback at the American major.
The player's varied form on the ATP Tour - and issues with his serving in especial - caused him exiting of the world's top 10 and ultimately splitting with long-time mentor Gilles Cervara.
Presently working with Johansson and Rohan Goetzke, Medvedev has consistently advanced in the past month - peaking in a tightly fought competitive win over challenger Moutet.
It is Medvedev's first trophy since the Italian tournament and maiden on a hard court after March of that year.
The win also signifies he has secured 21 titles at twenty-one different competitions.
"This marks the first occasion I'm at a tournament with my two daughters simultaneously, so to secure a championship is particularly special," stated ranked player Daniil Medvedev.
"This title is in honour of my child Victoria, because the initial championship I achieved when my first daughter Alisa was born was for her."

But the 29-year-old has made changes in the last few weeks, attempting to come to the net and perform aggressively, supported by an better service.
The champion recovered from a break down in the initial set against the difficult Moutet, taking 4 of the concluding five games to take the lead.
The competitors exchanged breaks in the middle set before the Frenchman, attempting for his maiden tour title, seized the initiative to create a final set.
He rescued 4 initial chances in a close final set before Medvedev won the break to 15 to serve for the match.
Suitably, Medvedev clinched the win with a rally at the net, with his opponent incapable to handle a return after over two and a half hours.
